The educational program of the United Centers for Spiritual Living, our parent organization, offers people of all ages the
opportunity to realize the Presence of God as all life, to discover their inherent creative power,
and to experience the Presence and Power in their daily lives.
The United Centers for Spiritual Living has a wonderful history of teaching the Science of Mind. Our founder, Dr.
Ernest Holmes, was teaching classes as early as 1918. This rich tradition of teaching is
the core of Science of Mind. Holmes drew thousands to his lectures in California, as did many
other wonderful teachers over the years. Millions of lives have been uplifted and transformed by this teaching.
The Spiritual Enrichment Center does not mandate that any of its members take these classes, but they are encouraged, especially the Foundational Class. The curriculum for each class is developed and continually updated by professional educators at the United Centers for Spiritual Living in Burbank, California. Students earn educational units for each class, a specific number of which are required if a student plans to become a Licensed Practitioner. There is a nominal fee for each class.
The following is a description of each course that the Spiritual Enrichment Center may teach each year. Please listen for announcements on Sunday or sign up for the SEC's semi-monthly E-Minder Service to receive SEC news and announcements via email
Feel free to express your interest in any of our Science of Mind courses by completing the Educational Interest Form.

Discover and express the power, creativity, freedom, abundance and joy that lie within you. Build a firm foundation of Spirit as you transform and expand your life, career and relationships. This is an entry-level class; you will be introduced to the Core Concepts of Science of Mind. Revised in 2007, the new curriculum presents a new spiritual principle each week and a spiritual practice to support that principle. The Creative Process is introduced at the beginning of the class and then flows through each week, so that the student has the opportunity to see and use the Creative Process at work in each spiritual principle. Each week also features the writing of one of our Elders as well as a contemporary author on the subject, including the writings of Dr. William Hornaday, Dr Frank Richilieu, Terry Cole Whittaker, Dr. Jesse Jennings, Dr. Kathy Hearn, Dr. Linda McNama, and many others.
